Fruits for your skin and hair

Everyone wants to have nice glowing skin and the best way to get it is the natural way. You can try applying various natural products on your face as well as hair but the easiest way of getting shiny hair and glowing skin is by having lots of fruits.

You can have these fruits either raw, or in the form of a shake or juice, or even with yogurt, but you have to have at least one fruit every day. Here are some of the important fruits you need to keep in mind.
  • Bananas - this is one of the most important fruit to have if you want to get glowing skin and hair. They are rich in Vitamins like A, E and C. In fact, these vitamins help in restoring the dull and damaged hair. Even the natural oils of the skin are restored by Vitamin A. Vitamin E is the one which helps in repairing the skin that is damaged and even helps in lightening the dark spots. Cell oxidation and wrinkles is prevented by Vitamin C.
  • Pineapple - if you are looking to refresh and rejuvenate your skin then you must have lots of pineapples. If you rub pieces of pineapple on your knees or your skin or any part of your body you will find that they have become soft. In fact, in the olden days people used to use pineapples as loofas.
  • Lemons - To cleanse your skin as well as your hair, you have to use lemons. In fact, if you rub lemon on your scalp you can prevent any sort of dandruff infestation. If you can add around two table spoons of lemon juice in your bath, not only will it prevent dandruff but it also keeps your body fresh and deodorizes it. Lemon rind even gets rid of dark spots and acne.
  • Papaya - To get rid of the dead skin cells from your face, the best home remedy is papaya paste. Papaya is an excellent exfoliater and it helps your skin glow.
  • Apples - if you add a bit of apple juice to your bath every day you will find that in the end you are getting smooth and soft skin. Apple juice added while rinsing the scalp even helps in preventing dandruff like lemon juice. In fact, it even makes your hair shine. Apples also act as a good toner and conditioner.
